In the JJ Leisure KO League, Upton Rugby caused a surprise by beating Allstar Sports by three wickets.
Opener Jon Hood (49) and Blaine Key (32) were the only Stars batsmen to look comfortable as they reached 114-9.

Causing problems with the ball were Anthony Smith (3-3) and Guy Marley (2-11).

Rugby lost both openers without scoring, but Rob Iveson (16), Todd Williamson (14), Nathan Hurcombe (20) and Ross Johnson (33no) s put them at 115-7 with 11 balls to spare. Dean Shaw claimed 3-15 and Paul Walker 2-3.

Mighty Ducks meet Upton Rugby in the league tonight at 6pm, and South Kirkby Social play Allstar Stars on Sunday at 10.30am, with Crow’s Nest face Upton Wrangbrook next Monday, Mighty Ducks meet South Kirkby Social next Tuesday and South Elmsall United Services meet Top House on Wednesday, all at 6pm.
